FTIR/FTNIR Module Interspec 402-X

FTIR Module is a rugged durable FTIR spectrometer that can be easily configured for a variety of FTIR applications.

The INTERSPEC series FTIR modules are stable, rugged units requiring the minimum of external utilities. The interferometer is 250 x 250 mm wide and 140 mm high. It includes a sealed, desiccated enclosure keeps the interferometer dry, and IR/NIR source does not require water cooling, and the Interferometer mechanical bearing does not require a gas supply.

For easy access, those system components which have a finite lifetime (i.e. laser, and radiation source) are located at the front side of the module.

Near infrared version (400-XN) employs a fused silica optics and is insensitive to any influence of water vapour. Resolution in the infrared is available factory default from 2 cm-1 to 32 cm-1 (option 0.5 and 1 cm-1). The overall wavelength range is 7000 to 400cm-1 (IR) or 15000 to 3000 cm-1 (NIR).

Portable FTIR Spectrometer (300-x)

The Interspec 300-X series of FTIR portable spectrometers represent a low cost Fourier transform infrared and near infrared portable spectrometers and employ a number of unique features that ensure high performance from a compact instrument.

The Interspec 300-X measures just 49 X 39 X 20 cm and is regarded as one of compact and versatile infrared FTIR spectrophotometers.

The design of the 300-X is unique both in terms of optical design and the software and firmware designed specifically to significantly reduce overall analytical times.

The interferometer geometry is employing a new compact Michelson self compensating optical system that eliminates many of the optical alignment problems found in conventional type optical interferometers.

The Interspec 300-X design avoids the use of conventional corner cube optics and dynamic alignment. In practice this means that the instrument can be used in the research laboratory, in any university or college environment and if required, can also be used outside laboratory or in remote locations.

Interspec 300-X series instruments may have three types of integrated accessories: 1) horizontal one bounce ATR (standard - ZnSe), 2) reflection and 3) transmission cell with path length from 0.1 to 1.0 mm (standard - CaF2 windows).

Portable FTIR spectrometer Interspec 301-X

Interspec 408 is an educational Fourier transform infrared/near-infrared (FTIR/FTNIR) modular spectrometer for teaching spectroscopy in the science and university labs to promote the use of infrared spectroscopy as a general-purpose, broad-based measurement tool, and to enable the use of state-of-the-art FTIR technology for teaching and science purposes.

With the wavenumber range from 7800 to 380 cm-1 and spectral resolution of 2 cm-1, the interferometer module with detector system and power supply forms an open path sample chamber modular spectrometer capable to use any FTIR accessory available in the market. It makes the instrument very flexible for different kind of applications in science and teaching lab.

The interferometer module has a transparent plastic cover to allow visual access to all of it’s major parts, 25-mm collimated output beam, a multicoated KBr beamsplitter, a high-intensity ceramic IR source, and an USB interface. and FTIR spectroscopic software Interspec for Windows is a program for running the spectrometer and for complete handling of measured infrared data.
