Welcome to ThePerry6, our family webpage, and thank you for visiting!

Yes, that is 5 boys (including dad) and 1 mom. Sometimes I feel a little alone being the only
girl in the house, but at least I get to keep all my clothes and shoes and make-up to myself
(always look for that silver lining!). I'm actually enjoying my queen status, and it's almost a
novelty - when the boys and I venture out to the mall or the grocery store I notice lots of
people doing double-takes, looking as if they are counting as we pass by, or asking if
Gabriel is a girl and then looking shocked when I say no. The attention is nice, and I often
part with blessings or well wishes from the curious onlookers.

We all enjoyed the Christmas break, and hope that you enjoyed yours as well. Since we were
planning to travel to Michigan for the "Destination Wedding" of Steves' cousin Vince and his
new bride Rachel, we decided to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at home. I missed my
usual tradition spent with some of my family members on Christmas Eve, but having 4 children
means it's pretty much a party anytime we are all together anyway, so it wasn't too lonely for
any of us! Later on Christmas Day we enjoyed dinner with family and friends. Three days
later, we packed up and headed to Michigan for the wedding, stopping halfway to enjoy an
overnight stay with some friends of ours who moved to Ohio. Our children and their children
were very happy to see each other and have a sleep-over. Steve and I really enjoyed spending
time with them again in their beautiful new home. Once in Michigan, we enjoyed lots of newly
fallen snow, some great accomodations, met many nice new people, were able to participate in
some winter-sports, spend time with family members, and especially enjoy a memorable and
beautiful "destination wedding". Congratulations and best wishes to the newlyweds. You can
